Dr. Cepynsky grew up in Downers Grove. She received her Bachelors of Science in 1981 from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1985. She started her private practice in 1986 at the Briarbrook Professional Building in Wheaton, and moved the practice to the Shops of Wheaton in 2017, renaming the practice to iCare4Vision. At this larger facility, she has integrated new technology, without compromising the patient care and compassion that is integral to the core values of the entire staff.
Dr. Cepynsky resides with her husband George in Lisle, they have 2 grown sons. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Wheaton Chamber of commerce. As a member of VOSH (Voluntary Optometric Service for Humanity), she has been on 5 mission trips to Ukraine, providing eye exams and glasses to people in need.
Cary has resided in Wheaton for over 25 years with her husband, Wayne, they have 2 grown daughters and an infant grandson. Being an active part of the Wheaton community for decades enables her to treat patients with the small town atmosphere in our larger suburb.
Cary is the optical manager at iCare4Vision. She brings over 24 years of experience as an optician, selecting and dispensing precision eye wear in the span of 22 years for patients of Dr. Cepynsky and iCare4Vision. She brings her passion of quality patient care with her keen sense of style and fashion. Her extensive experience enables her to assist patients in selecting fashionable, properly fitting eyewear ensuring optimum visual acuity and physical comfort. Additionally, her knowledge of contact lenses allows her to give the patient maximized success in caring for their eyes with crisp, comfortable visual acuity.
Additionally, Cary oversees billing and insurance processing. She skillfully coordinates insurance benefits of medical and vision insurance to attain the best coverage for patients. Most importantly, she subscribes fully to the mission of putting patients’ needs above all else.
